Andres is passionate about being a tour guide and has over 20 years of experience in the field. Specializing in sustainable tourism and natural resource management, he has excelled academically and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in business management and sustainable development. Originally from the northern province of Guanacaste, Andres remains deeply committed to promoting responsible tourism in the region and is recognized as a leader in the field.
His love for botany, birdwatching, and Costa Rica’s biodiversity shines through in every tour he leads. Whether guiding incentive travelers, students, nature enthusiasts, or birdwatching groups, Andres brings unmatched expertise and enthusiasm. Erick Picado

Erick lives by the saying, “If we were meant to stay in one place, we would have roots instead of feet.” As a dedicated naturalist tour guide, he has spent his life exploring the wonders of Costa Rica. Eco Dreams Travel is proud to have Erick as part of our team of expert trip leaders.
Growing up in southern Costa Rica, Erick’s love for nature began in a playground filled with waterfalls, rivers, coffee plantations, and wildlife. Although his university studies in administration and ecotourism took him to San José, the call of nature soon brought him back to his favorite places after becoming a certified tour guide. For the past 16 years, Erick has been providing visitors with unforgettable experiences, sharing his deep knowledge and passion for the neo-tropics.
His enthusiasm for the natural world is matched only by his love for guiding, ensuring that every guest leaves Costa Rica with a deeper connection to its incredible ecosystems. We’re excited for you to experience Costa Rica with Erick by your side!

For the past 16 years, this has been his guiding philosophy as he’s explored the country he loves. Eddy’s favorite spots include some of the most biologically rich areas in the world, like Corcovado and Tortuguero. Throughout his career, he has guided all types of groups across the country, working with multiple tour operators as a freelance guide. His love for wildlife and meeting people from around the globe shines through on every tour.
What Eddy enjoys most is witnessing the excitement on his guests’ faces when they experience something new and awe-inspiring in nature. After volunteering in Tortuguero, Carlos developed a deep appreciation for the tropical rainforest and its biodiversity. This led him to pursue a degree in English and become a certified tour guide. With over 20 years of experience, Carlos shares his knowledge and enthusiasm with every tour. When not guiding, he enjoys spending time with family and cheering on his favorite football team.

Hector's enthusiasm for nature, particularly plants, mammals, reptiles, and insects, is infectious. He loves adventure trips and is always up for exploring new trails and discovering hidden gems.
