Thirteen years later, his son, Juan Santamaría Campos, partnered to buy a diesel-powered mill. Years later, the current owner, Juan de Dios Santamaría Hidalgo, transformed the farm into an agro-tourism site in 2005, showcasing Costa Rican culture.
